Our Green Finance Framework
The Green Finance Framework provides investors with a robust foundation for sustainable investment. It has been reviewed by Sustainalytics and aligns with international standards, including the Green Bond and Green Loan Principles. It provides investors with clear insight into project selection criteria, oversight of resource allocation, and the measurable environmental impact generated by our projects.
Use of funds and impact
Funds raised by Aquafin under the Green Finance Framework are dedicated exclusively to projects that promote sustainable water management and create societal value. This ensures that every investment generates a tangible, positive impact on water quality and climate objectives.
Our green investments focus on:
- Domestic waste water transport and treatment infrastructure
- Sustainable sludge treatment and energy projects
- Climate-adaptive interventions and resource recovery
All outcomes are validated and published annually, providing full transparency to investors on the impact achieved.
